Over all, this was a lovely lunch in a bright cafe just steps from the Tower of London. The chocolate and salted caramel tart made the whole meal. Wow. Parsnip soup was flavorful. Shepherd's pie was warm and tasty. The risotto was too salty.more
An hour here and we have only gotten two tiny salads.
Restaurant is half empty and yet it seems impossible to make timely food.
This is a really cool hang out spot. After walking around the Tower Bridge and/or Tower of London, this place will give you the extra boost for your next adventure.
It's a restaurant. It's a bar and it's a cafe all in one. They have plenty of outdoor seating including some nice lounge chairs where you can enjoy some of the coffee, champagne or several of their beers and ales.
I have had this on my list of bookmarks for a while, so it was fortuitous that we felt like a coffee while in the area. The location is probably its best feature: literally right next to the Tower of London.
