Taking over the former site of Grafton House, the Jam Tree Clapham has a completely different layout to its predecessor. The front of the venue has been transformed into a light and lively space, framed by floor to ceiling windows on one side, and a long copper topped bar on the other. The venue"s quirky urban vintage style will be represented by its mismatched seating - American style refectory tables, cheerful café chairs and battered Chesterfields. Tom Dixon copper globe lights, hammered tin ceilings, antique grocery shelves and walls adorned with colourful jam jar pop art and mirrors will all add to the bright and warm atmosphere. Towards the back of the venue will be a concealed door leading to a private room with its own bar and adjoining garden area. Ideal for private functions, the space will also feature a ping pong table and dining area.

The food is amazing and I highly recommend their sticky battered squid , which I automatically realised and confirmed was their signature dish.more
On arrival I found this place interesting and already appeared to be better than the previous restaurant in this space. Unfortunately our experience was not off to a great start. We ordered what I believe to be simple and your classic drinks - a Manhattan and a dirty vodka Martini up with olives. The drinks that arrived: a glass of bourbon and a gin martini with a lemon twist. In fairness the...more
Went for drinks. Service was fine. Didn't eat. Nice mojiti topped with champaign - £11. Didn't go into the outdoor area but it looked good.more
Really bad waiters ... Really bad food... What more is there to say? It took almost an hour for our cold thrown together food to arrive and then the order was messed up. Manager on site was rude and unhelpful. I really wouldn't recommend it...more
