I am always amazed this place isn't busier, right in the heart of Wimbledon Village a sizeable and excellent quality Chinese restaurant.

We visited Bayee Village for the second time this weekend and thankfully we were early diners (7pm), as we hadn't booked and it was full-to-capacity by 8pm.

in the over-hyped food wasteland that is the chain-dominated Wimbledon Village, it's nice to see an independent restaurant. Bayee Village has been producing reliable, tasty Chinese food in Wimbledon for decades and there is a sister restaurant in Putney.

Bayee's served me the best Chinese food I have ever had. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food but this wasn't the typical greasy food I had come to expect of Chinese food.
