Champagne + Fromage
Overview
Champagne and cheese make a perfect pairing at Champagne + Fromage, a shop-cum-bistro selling the best of both in Covent Garden.
The shop itself, secreted away on Wellington Street, is Gallic at its most gorgeous: displays of champagne, cheese and charcuterie make for quite the chic centrepiece, while mismatched furniture and reclaimed materials add a stamp of authentic French flair.
The focal point, however, is a fabulously oversized fromagerie that’ll have foodies tripping over themselves to fall inside.

This place is just absolutely amazing and I recommend you check out the reviews for...more
I have never been a big fan of wine and cheese (together ... individually, i love them both, though not so much on their own). My only real prior experience of wine and cheese had been at a party thrown by three French colleagues many years back ... and I can't say that I had found myself at home there.
So I went into the yelp event at Champagne + Fromage with an open mind, trying to figure...more
Hmm...I wonder what you get here? As you would expect, C+F does in fact sell both bubbles and cheese but not the mass-marketed stuff you would typically recognise. Each bottle of bubbly and creamy bit of curd is specially selected by the powerhouse duo (Maud + Stephano) who drive this place forward and make it special.
The little shop/café is quite small with a handful of tables and seating...more
