Best bacon sandwich in east London! I don't even like bacon, but this one I can't pass up.
Service is friendly, interesting menu and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the view of the pond. This place is more of a hipster/ yummy-mummy hang out than I'd generally go to (its far from being your average greasy spoon). But the foods really good, although quite expensive (vege breakfast £9.50 and pancakes £7.50 are delicious) and being sat right next to the duck pond in the park makes it a lovely setting, even on a rainy day.more
Absolutely gorgeous spot in Victoria park - in winter they stop serving food at 4pm but sometimes run out earlier, so it's worth getting there by 2pm. In summer you can hire boats next door for around £10/hr. There's usually a selection of freshly made cakes and the pancakes are a must!more
It's always a treat to brunch (it's a verb now, don't you know) at Pavilion Cafe but I do make sure it's a once in a while occurrence. An avocado bacon sandwich costs around £6, Italian style (small) coffees are costly and often inconsistently made. Sometimes cold, other times astringent.
