How does one NOT go to Claridge's on a trip to London?

Had a lovely afternoon tea for the two of us. I actually had to get a lactose-free menu which tends to be a step-down from the regular lactose-abundant menu but I was surprised at how delicious all my sandwiches and pastries were compared to the other set.

Also, it goes without saying (so I'll type it) that their tea selection is just...more

Wow. Holy shxxxxxxxxxt. I mean come on!!!! I had the vegetarian breakfast which cost £34 and was definitely the best breakfast I've ever had!!!! That mushroom I'd something I'll take to my grave...the raisin pastrie too....and the fresh orange juice....the scrambled eggs....the vegetarian sausage.... yeah....I was on a food high for the rest of the day.more

I made a reservation to have afternoon tea here at Claridge's right after booking my trip to London. Having afternoon tea here is like a once in a lifetime experience... At 50 pounds per person for just tea, finger sandwiches and pastries, is it worth it? To me its yes and no after my visit here.

We came to Claridge's as part of our company's UK tea tour (The Rolling Tea Cart) and were completely blown away. This is 2 days after tea at the Ritz. Their afternoon tea was immaculate.
