I like this place, particularly as the buffet allows me to try a bit of everything. The food and service has been good on both times I visited and I liked the atmosphere when I visited. Good fun for groups. My only criticism is that items in the buffet seem to come and go on different days - no macaroni cheese last time :-(more
I'm a huge lover of West Indian & Caribbean Food! Love it more than my own native food (Philippines) lol. Any yelpers out there who knows how to cook a nice decent Caribbean dish please drop a line and I'll come round with a fork in my hand.
Caribbean Scene - Stratford is situated right in the heart of Stratford Circus. Very good location as it is right by the cinema, Stratford Royal theatre,...more
I was leaving the cinema which is right next door to this spot and decided i wanted to try some caribbean food in london so i stopped at Caribbean Scene. I ordered the oxtails with rice and peas & the rice had no flavor and the oxtails were the worst i've every tasted. I could have made better oxtails myself.more
Me and my Husband, were going to the cinema but wanted something quick to eat, and fancied some caribbean food, we went in and asked how long the food would take to cook, they said it would be quicker and cheaper to have their buffet, so we did, we got a plate of food each and eat less than a quarter each it was disgusting!! they saw how much we ate and they still charged £36.98!!! Will not go...more
