Bleeding Heart
Overview
Bleeding Heart is located just off the main thoroughfare in a quiet cobbled courtyard. The main restaurant downstairs is decorated in the style of a library and serves a variety of opulent French cuisine. Upstairs is more of an informal surrounding serving traditional dishes from an A La Carte menu, all of which are complimented by an extensive wine list. Catering for private parties of up to 60 guests is available upon request and seating on the terrace area is provided, weather permitting.

The atmosphere/decor is pleasant and you get the "nice restaurant" feel...more
Nice bistro by office. 3 sep restaurants...pub, bistro and fine dinning.more
Ate dinner at the downstairs (more formal) restaurant. It was amazing. Veggie option was a fabulous pasta with seasonal veg, and was cooked to perfection. Utterly loved it. The carnivores I was with enjoyed their beef / pork, too.more
Good, higher-end (and higher-priced) food downstairs but the real scene is on the ground floor, in the pub. Great beers and burgers. A lively scene. Downstairs is a bit too staid (and pricey) for me, but the food and drink in the street level pub are just right.more
I am reviewing the dining room which is the upscale restaurant of this trio of restaurants under the Bleeding Heart label.
Excellent wine list but at a hefty price.
Uncommunicative waiter who made no effort to guide us around the menu.
The crab tian was relatively tasteless and the suckling pig was way over cooked and dry. We tried to rescue it with extra gravy but basically the crackling and...more
