Fans of Tramshed in Shoreditch will be pleased to hear that Hixter - Mark Hix's new restaurant will be opening at the end of November. Hixter offersTramshed’s simple chicken & steak-focused menu. The concept for Hixter is a straightforward and casual dining experience, while offering quality and good value. Diners can opt for a whole Swainson House Farm Indian Rock roast chicken for 2-3 to share, and interesting cuts of ‘Mighty Marbled’ Himalayan salt-aged beef from Peter Hannan’s Glenarm Estate such as rib steak or sirloin in 250g multiples up to 1kg, Porterhouse, and fillet on the bone, along with the option of starters and desserts. A changing selection of seasonal sharing starters will include Tramshed’s famous Yorkshire pudding served with whipped chicken livers. Hixter will also be home to a second Mark’s Bar, championing new and established British drinks producers, and incorporating their drinks into seasonal and foraged infusions.
