With its grand entrance, lit by spotlights, taking you in to the dining room via a vast glass porch reminiscent of the hotels of the silver screen, Kiplings immediately gives you that VIP feel, something which is continued throughout your stay. Well appointed and comfortable within, Kiplings’ dining room is a vibrant and cheerful place, the extremely smart staff polite and efficient without being overbearing. On the menu you’ll find a good collection of traditional Indian meals, recipes taken from various regions and given a contemporary twist, presented attractively and accompanied by your pick of authentically prepared side dishes and sundries.

I haven't been too Kiplings for donkeys years. Whilst in the neighbourhood we decided to give it a visit, due to the long wait at a close by restaurant I did want to go to. Kiplings were able to seat us quickly - perhaps a sign of what was to come.
