Aside from the view, I found Duck & Waffle to be underwhelming. It might have been that the restaurant has been overhyped by some friends and colleagues, but I've had better, especially for the prices. We originally had a booking for 6.15 but had to change it. So that's how we ended up in Duck and Waffle at half-midnight on a Monday morning. Fantastic experience .. I really enjoyed it. Bear in mind though that you come here for the fantastic view and not the food which I found well meaning but a disappointing.

I had the house breakfast followed by the grilled asparagus. Both dishes well presented but felt they could have used nicer sausages, mushroom and the asparagus was a bit heavy on the vinegar.

Thought it would be much more expensive, but kind of affordable for a nice restaurant in that type of building!

Amazing night view and atmosphere, love the interior and open kitchen!

The ox cheek doughnut is huge and enough for three people, love the filling and the sauce, but the bread itself is a little dry and hard to chew, not bouncy or moist at all.

Every so often, it's good to have a little pomp and circumstance in your life.

Even if the end result means that you're basically going to eat poultry and a waffle.
