Located behind an imposing entrance on the corner of historic Drury Lane and The Aldwych, The Delaunay is an all-day café-restaurant inspired by the grand cafés of Europe. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, morning coffee and afternoon tea are also served seven days a week, alongside a Take-Out section with a local delivery service. Booking is recommended but a portion of the tables are available for walk-in customers.

We came for coffee and pastries. Cappuccinos, Sacher Torte, Pain au Chocolate, Croisants, etc were delicious.
Service was corteous and prompt.
I wanted to go back for the schnitzel.

It's a really unpleasant experience with the restaurant. My wife and I came into the restaurant about 8 pm and did not have our entree (main) until 9:25. People who came in later than us, finished their dinner and left the restaurant before our entrees were ready.
We asked for extra bread while we are waiting for the entree. But it took 30 min to get the extra bread.

Came here for an early breakfast without a reservation and was eagerly seen to, even though it was already filling up. Inside is beautifully set and a generous amount of space given between tables.
