First meal since arriving and boy am I starved !

The room is very relaxing and it almost seem as people are speaking in hushed tones to match the ambience, service is incredibly slow - getting the menus took ages and to order took ages but to compensate the food was remarkably fast - kudos to the chefs on that one !

Pretty good stuff! I had the lettuce wraps, which were decent but could have used a little more flavor. Then I had the sizzling beef with black pepper sauce, which I really liked. It wasn't huge but I'm a big American and I think I just haven't gotten used to rest-of-the-world portion sizes.

Last night I met a couple of friends for a drink at a pub and as we were all hungry and fancied some Chinese food, we asked the bar maid if there was any local Chinese restaturants nearby and she gave us the restaurant's business card, so we then headed for it.

Made in China is a fairly nice place with very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome indeed.
