Overview

The North Pole has something for everyone and is uniquely a night out under one roof! Start off your evening with a cocktail in the ground floor bar before heading up the spiral staircase to the spacious modern country house style dining room. Modern European cuisine such as breast of duck with a rhubarb compote, fondant potato and red wine jus or fillet of sea bass with vegetable ratatouille and red pepper coulis are available and accompanied by a resident pianist. A special mid-week three course set menu is available at £14.95 for 2 courses or £19.95 for 3. Don’t forget to look up and see the Goldfish swimming in the chandeliers! After your meal you can carry on your evening in the bar or club until 2am!For special occasions why not hire out the private dining room or even the whole restaurant!

About a month ago I helped organise a surprise 50th birthday party for a friend here. We reserved the smaller dining room which very comfortably accommodated the 20 people we had. Very good space with decor that feels quite sumptuous but not pretentious. No cost except £100 deposit. It was for a Sunday lunchtime. We had the set 3 course menu very good value at £16.95 a head.
