Having taken over a derelict pub in the heart of town, the owners of the Yak & Yeti have transformed the space and brought it back to life, with stylish, comfortable seating, cheerful colour scheme and a positive ambience. The additive-free menu features both Britain’s favourite Indian dishes and fascinating Nepalese specialties. And as so many Nepalese are vegetarian, the Yak & Yeti menu offers terrific depth in its vegetarian choices. The chef and his team are rightly proud of subcontinental culinary heritage, so they make a point of serving fresh, authentic dishes served with enormous attention to detail – as well as Nepalese beer and very good quality house wine.
