Much like an Angel this place is a lifesaver. There's free WIFI, which is good if you are on business travel and you don't want be eaten alive by roaming fees. Couches by the fire place allow for a cozy experience. Peroni on tap is just simply the icing on the cake.
We liked it so much we had a return trip for brunch on Saturday. Theirs is a modern take on the traditional English breakfast,...more
As we were virtually snowed in at the top of the hill this weekend there was nothing else for it, but to go to the pub for the afternoon. The Angel Inn is one of my favourites out of the many great pubs to choose from in Highgate (lucky me) so we headed over.

Had a great lunch here today on our way to Highgate Cemetery. Server was Jess and he was friendly, helpful, and efficient.more

Good pub with a good selection of ales and beers. Right in the middle of Highgate Village. Interior is quite nice with some sofas and comfy chairs.
For me it just lacks a bit the feel of being a traditional pub. I would give it more stars, but compared to other options (e.g. The Flask) it feels a bit like a chain pub if you know what I mean.more
