A great place to scour for books, I can spend any amount of time here. Great editions of books and something for every budget. I bought a gift for my friends here (Stranger by Camus) and it was perfectly "used". Definitely recommend!more
There used to be more antiquarian/second-hand bookshops on this stretch of Charing Cross Road, but sadly a number of them have closed down over the years, to be replaced by coffee bars and boutiques. Such a satisfying experience for anyone who loves spending an afternoon looking through floor-to-ceiling stacks of used, scholarly books. With new books coming in every day and a basement full of older and on sale books, it really does not get better--nor more affordable--than Any Amount of Books.more
Wanted to pick up a book for my kid on my way out of London. Yelp app told me this place was close to the Leicester square underground station.
