The pasta is homemade and delicious. Cozy atmosphere upstairs. The mushroom risotto was overly salted but still tasty. I had the sea bass which was grilled and seasoned only with salt and pepper, delicious. Service is very friendly.more
This place is near perfection. I am a weary traveler who just wants a good meal sometimes. So I wandered in simply saying " I don't want to order. Can you just feed me like home?" Boy, did they ever. I can muss this up by saying details, but from start to finish it was perfection.more
Found this restaurant by chance. We liked the room with its painted mirrors and French / Italian artwork. Candles on the tables added to the romantic vibe. The fettuccine with salmon, asparagus and langoustines was delicious and I would highly recommend. The swordfish was a substantial plateful but didn't have too much flavour. Cozy nice italian place! Really nice seafood spaghetti and perfect caprese! Quiet music and good athmosphere. Worth a visit, when you are a bit tired and hugry for italian flavours.more
SO firstly I didn't actually go in and eat. I went in, sat down, sussed it out and was 'nah isn't for me'
So here's why.
1. The atmosphere was a bit off - there was something insincere and mildly tacky about what it was trying to be - like it was trying to be posh or something. But not really mastering it - or maybe it was just a little dated.
