Overview

Established since 1996 by director Christopher Bruckner, the gallery are specialist dealers in art from east and south Asia, primarily Chinese imperial art and Buddhist art from the Himalayan region. The scope of the collection reflects the diverse interests of Christopher, who first came into the business through his own passion for collecting. Painting, furniture, sculpture, textiles cloisonné, lacquer and porcelain are shown, predominantly made for or by order of the Yuan, Ming and Qing imperial courts. Tibetan religious art and its influence on Chinese culture are also of particular interest to the gallery.
