ASK Italian

Situated in the famous Baker Street, just around the corner from the Sherlock Holmes Museum and Madame Tussaud's, ASK Italian is a great Italian restaurant where authentic pizza and pasta is the star of the show.

The stone baked pizzas are traditionally made and toppings include the excellent Four Seasons with pepperoni, prosciutto, artichoke, mushroom, capers, black olives, mozzarella, tomato and rosemary. The pasta is equally as good with dishes such as the Polpette al Forno (spicy beef meatballs with rigatoni pasta tubes, green chillies, fire roasted peppers, caramelised onions and tomato sauce all cooked in the oven). Round off with a delicious banoffee pie or typical Italian tiramisu.

Good food but poor service. One person waiting on the entire place.. Not her fault but many tables not happy.. Need to hire more people:..when place emptied out surprisingly 3 more people came out of no where to help. Not managed well.

Pizza's worth it though.more

A place for Italian food, the pasta portions are big. The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and has a good vibe to it.more

This Branch of Ask Itallian is opposite an exit of Baker Street Station, I came in here looking for a nice Gluten Free meal and I did not leave disappointed.

I ordered a Fiorentina Gluten Free Pizza without the Olives, the Gluten Free Pizza base was actually quite nice and was a very large one as well, I would of preferred the spinach to be chopped and put on the pizza instead of whole but...more

The best thing about this place was that it was open, and had gluten free options for pasta. So I was able to order something I don't normally get to. But it's kind of a weird, modern place. Still, the food was OK.more
