Walk into Michelin-starred restaurant Dabbous and explore its dining room and basement bar. Exposed brickwork, sheet metal and copper pipes combine with candlelight and natural woods to create an industrial but organic feel.

The menu offers elegant yet restrained food, characterised by clean flavours and simple presentation.

In the basement bar you will find both classic and signature cocktails. A limited selection of bar snacks is offered alongside the full restaurant menu.

Tailored music playlists and table service also feature. All in all, a more modern and informal alternative to many of London's fine dining restaurants.

Concrete elegance best describes this Michelin starred flagship restaurant from Ollie Dabbous, one of London's most interesting chefs. Reworking traditional British ingredients into deceptively simple fare via a masterful awareness of flavours and texture, everything here is well-balanced and tasty. The bread arrives in a brown paper bag stamped with today's date. The Sicilian olives burst...more

Everyone has wanted to try Dabbous since it opened including me, but tables were so difficult to get I forgot about it until today. Monday lunchtime... Why not try my luck? (Even if coddled egg is not on the menu anymore).

So I got a table and went for the set lunch at a very reasonable £28 for 3 courses.

The complimentary olives are one of the best I've had, Sicilian and meaty.

Sigh, ok. When I was living in London previously (2012-2013), Dabbous was like the IT spot. You couldn't get reservations, and if you could it was for months in advance. What may have once been an awesome, cutting edge, creative dining experience was,...more

That's Dabbous (the S is silent in case you don't know).

You know how you go to a try out the bar at a restaurant and you...more

From the second you walk in this inconspicuous restaurant good things just start to happen. I call that "Good Karma"!

We were late for our 8:00 reservation. The London Tube went on strike hours before and the streets were a mess. No problem for these nice people at Dabbous. Go downstairs and have a drink until the rest of your party gets here - and we did. I don't know where their mixologist...more
