Finally I have found a HUGE art supplies shop in London. Ususally the ones I find are tiny with only the basic essentials.

In this shop you literally have wall to wall art supplies in a large sized room similar to that of a warehouse.

I love gawping at the coloured pencils like a wide eyed kid. Especially good for a 'credit crunch' christmas, if you fancy manking your own cards and presents. It's very cheap too, and the staff are really friendly.

I want to work...more

Located in Whitechapel, Atlantis can be a bit of a trek for those not fortunate to live near enough. It certainly is for me, but it is always worth the effort to get there because of the amazing prices they sell their supplies at. It makes all the other polished and prissy art stores in London seem overpriced, which of course they are, and the range and collection and different brands they...more
