First off, service at this place was great. It was a cold day and they were full. So, the waiter offered us from free hot tea while we waited. That was really good.

Inside however, the tables were really cramped together, so there isn't much space. Also, the music was a 30-minute track of a monotone beat. It was a bit irritating.

I had the opposite experience to the first reviewer - visiting at lunch today, I found the service somewhat inattentive (we had to chase someone down for water, bread, the bill...) but I LOVED the food! Lebanese is one of my favorite cuisines and I'm quite picky about it but the mezze platter of classics was great, and also very generous in size (except for the pita that came with it.) To...more

I'd been meaning to try this place for years, and when it opened in my neighborhood I was quite keen to grab a quick bite. Every time I tried, however, it was so incredibly busy with tourists that I couldn't be bothered.

We had:

Lentil Soup -- salty as hell but I sort of enjoyed it and it came with fantastic bread (almost like challah bread)

After spending a few hours at the Victoria and Albert Museum, we were hungry. We stumbled upon the Comptoir Libanais. (Lebanese Cafe)

The inside decor is really cheerful !!! Since it was a beautiful/sunny day, we sat outside. (good people watching). The host and our restaurant server was extremely friendly and inviting. I mention this because it was a stark contrast to other restaurants...more
