Loved it, just loved it. Soif is the new restaurant from those who have brought us Terrorir and Brawn. While I love both of these restaurants, arguably Soif hits new heights.

I'm not entirely sure how this place has got so many decent reviews. I went for dinner with 2 friends, on a Saturday night for food and we left pretty under whelmed. The food was ok but nothing mind blowing. The signature dish of black pudding and squid tasted great but there wasn't much of it. This place is ok, but nothing special. It is not a patch on the excellent Terroirs. I was struggling to choose between 2 and 3 stars and in the end plumped for 2 (though it is probably a 2.5, that is 5 out of 10).

It is like the owners have taken the excellent Terroirs wine bar and tried to make it more Clapham. It is really pretentious, that is for sure. Part of this is down to the...more
