Planet of the Grapes

About

Planet of the Grapes, Bow Lane, is a restaurant, wine bar and fine wine merchant all rolled into one. We have a range of over 300 wines, several of which are served by the glass. Our menu, which changes daily, is a delicious mix of modern British and European styles, with the option of selecting nibbles and tapas dishes to a full three course meal. We are proud to offer a flat corkage fee of just £10 to any of our bottles of wine that you choose to enjoy in our restaurant, be it our house white or a top Bordeaux! We also offer an excellent range of fine cigars - perfect for enjoying outside our bar with a little glass of something. We also have a bar in Leadenhall Market as well as a shop on New Oxford Street. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Ive now been to Planet of the Grapes, a massive 3 times with each time being lovelier than the last!

I didnt realise that there were a few PotGs in London but I think this would be my fave. We had the following and i would recommend them all without hesitation. looking forward to trying...more

You are also bloody expensive and objectionable in the way you charge for booze. Any wine drunk in the restaurant has technically been bought from the shop...more

Dude, this place should get a minimum of three stars just for the name. Clever, my friends. Clever.

Anyway, we ended up here for book group after the fabulous Hannah W. found it and chose it for the location.

I decided to eat here, because that's what I like to do. Before we ordered though, the server brought out some savory muffins that the chef made because he had gotten bored. They were...more
