Tarragon Persian Kitchen and Bar
Overview
A family run venture on London’s famous Lavender Hill, the Tarragon Persian Bar and Kitchen is owned by husband and wife Kami and Simin, both originally from Iran but now well known faces in the Clapham community. With fifteen years running restaurants under their belts, Kami and Simin have opened Tarragon as an almost unique venture in to serving Persian food in a contemporary atmosphere. Unlike other Persian restaurants in the capital Tarragon strives to offer a bright, modern setting in which your dining experience is enjoyed. The stunning bistro-style dining room has a real feeling of space and traditional touches are given a quirky twist in the Persian-print banquettes and stone baking oven which sit alongside an open bar space and ultra-modern tables. Tarragon’s menu is made up entirely of traditional Persian dishes, incorporating both familiar kebab grills with their healthy, charcoal grilled flavour, to the authentically spiced stews inspired by Persian home cooking.
