Don't get hung up on the idea that this is a Turkish restaurant. It is Turkish, but whether or not you like Turkish food there's something for everyone.
This is one of our favourite local haunts in Pimlico for breakfast. The staff are always friendly and warm, there's a sense of atmosphere without being too loud and the food arrives within a reasonable time of ordering (5-10 mins).

It used to be called Caramel, which was a super cool name. Then they changed it to Café Kazan which is considerably less cool, but I guess the owners must have changed since there's a restaurant called Kazan across the road (which does fine middle eastern food)...
Now it's called Kazan Kitchen. Not sure why they keep changing it really...
This outpost of Kazan is quite handy. Come here when you want awesome Turkish food, but don't want to wait or have the serious sit-down experience of Kazan across the street.
