While at the mall, I was craving pho. Roamed in the food court and saw Pho (name of the restaurant), I decided to give it a go. What better way to finish up a day of shopping than to eat at Pho. The menu here looks smaller than their full restaurants menu but I was pleased to see that my favourite chicken salad was on there. My sister in law got the chicken broken rice & loved it so definitely one for me to try next time. After a agonising shopping trip food was needed. I wanted (not really) something healthy so thought mmmm noodle soup.

I'm a pretty regular visitor to the Pho at Angel, and so I knew what I was getting in to at this branch. Unfortunately I was still a bit disappointed.

Obviously it's not the same vibe, having to order at a counter and carry your own food. I could forgive that, but I'm afraid the food just wasn't as good as normal.

This is the first time I've been to a food court based Pho. As you might expect, the food is the same, but you completely lose the ambiance from the normal restaurants.

You wouldn't notice this with say, Burger King, unless you've only ever been to intimate versions of their restaurants but with Pho its noticeably absent.
