The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund
Overview
The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund is dedicated to protecting and saving the world's last remaining gorillas in their natural forest habitat in central Africa. Founded by the late Dr Dian Fossey, after her favourite gorilla was speared to death by poachers in 1979, it has evolved to become a world-renowned organisation at the forefront of community-based conservation.
