In a town filled with tweeness, it might seem like Upsy Daisy Bakery takes the biscuit (HAAAAH) - but in fact, it smartly walks that very fine sugar-coated line and emerges comfortably on just the right side of cute.

Unlike the nearby Drink Me Eat Me, which is almost uncomfortably saccharine, and Artisan, which is too try-hard hipster for its own good, Upsy Daisy Bakery gets the weekend...more

I had high hopes for this little bakery. Upon entering, the atmosphere was hot, hectic and loud. Our meal order was taken, the drinks brought quickly to the table...and then, we waited. No need to be skeptical about Upsy Daisy anymore - it's a success and a total local gem.

I wake up most weekend mornings dreaming of their flat white, their luxury grilled cheese and their French toast with blueberries and maple syrup. Oh my word.

Upsy are even starting to have reserved tables now. Well done, but make sure there is always a seat for me please.more
