I had high hopes for this little bakery. Upon entering, the atmosphere was hot, hectic and loud. Our meal order was taken, the drinks brought quickly to the table...and then, we waited. It seemed all at once the restaurant emptied, and yet 45 minutes later our food was still no where to be seen. Upsy Daisy Bakery is a unique bakery cum brunch place cum cafe. Think a stereotypically quaint English dining room with pastel pinks and blues. Then add an espresso machine. Then add award-winning cupcakes. The result? Upsy Daisy Bakery.

No need to be skeptical about Upsy Daisy anymore - it's a success and a total local gem.
I wake up most weekend mornings dreaming of their flat white, their luxury grilled cheese and their French toast with blueberries and maple syrup. Oh my word.
Upsy are even starting to have reserved tables now. Well done, but make sure there is always a seat for me please.more
