Great little spot on the corner between the Hampstead overland train station and the royal free hospital. French style cafe place with a large community table in the middle. It can be a tight fit so wear deodorant but you can usually get a spot right away.

Take a trip to Le Pain if you wish to have a fantastic bowl of cappuccino. Combined with their lovely selection of fresh breads, cheeses, and cakes - Le Pain is an ideal spot for reading a newspaper and/or people watching.

The french stick was the perfect balance of crusty...more

I felt remarkably well-to-do in my stinking gym clothes, purchasing an amazingly tasty baguette with my cheese board and Lemon Tart. Chain or not the riff-raff keep clear and you can enjoy a little quiet time...more
