The View from The Shard is the premium visitor attraction at the top of Western Europe's tallest building, and London's newest landmark, The Shard.

Designed by Master Architect Renzo Piano, the Shard redefines London’s skyline and has become a dynamic symbol of London. At a height of up to 800ft or 244m, The View from The Shard offers spectacular views over London for up to 40 miles. They are almost twice as high as any other vantage point in the city, and the only place where visitors can see the entire city at once.

First let me say that I love attractions like this and visit them whenever they exist. This experience was on par with similar attractions. It provided a great view of London's best assets - a better view than the London Eye. I booked a ticket for 1000 on a Saturday. I am totally happy with my visit. Get your tickets early, I would totally recommend booking online.

I got my entry coupons via timeout london. Saved a lot of money.

You will have to queue up here anyway. Once you get in you can stay up there as long as you want. The view is spread to two floors. The lower one, on the 69th floor, which is a 360 degree glass walled room which can occupy about a...more

I was lucky enough to go up here for free. The catch I had to dress up as Santa, luckily there I already had a suit so I thought why not? I wasn't too sure how many other Santas there would be, but with it being earlier on a Sunday morning near Christmas I thought there would be a good chance of getting up.

Being the tallest building in London, you can see The Shard from almost anywhere. Some people like it, some not so much. But no matter if you are a fan of modern glass structures or not, The Shard changes the London skyline.
