Hang out with the trendy Hoxton crew and catch a gig or two.
East London's fashionable folk hang out in Hoxton and this bar is one of the few that's abandoned weekly re-invention and is sticking to the winning formula of great live music and club nights.
It's free to hang out in the bar but you'll need a ticket for the gigs.

Not a bad little bar but not the best - to be fair it's probably more of a 3.5 in my book!
Fairly large, fairly clubby - it would be perfect if you have just been to a gig (I noticed they do have a large music venue built in around the back) - it seemed a bit soulless in terms of somewhere to hang out and relax. We were lucky though and got some decent seats in the back before it got too...more
Very friendly customer service from the bouncer to the waiting staff, I came with a friend to watch a Nicke Brewer show and ordered a 'Capo's' pizza for £11 a very meaty dish for myself which was delicious and presented in a traditional pizzeria style; followed by a tasty raspberry mojito which was my first time having both, while in the company of a candle lit dinning experience and low...more
Great multi-tasker of a venue. Lovely for a catch up drink with mates and great for seeing up and coming bands at decent prices. The venue is pretty small, so you're guaranteed to get a good view and through past experience I've noticed the crowds at shows here seem to be a lot more chilled out than at bigger venues.more
This review is for the small live music venue attached to the bar and kitchen.
I'm not a massive fan of the main bar - it's noisey, a bit too kitchen like for an evening and the smoking section is like a small cage in a zoo!
The live music venue is great - nice small intimate setting for seeing your favourite gigs. There's a bar inside too. Staff are friendly. Recommend it for gigs for sure!more
I did not know what to expect when I went to Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen. Just like many reviews stated, the cocktails are on point. My friend said it was the best whisky sour he had in a long time.
I won't be able to talk about the food since I didn't eat. That said, I went to see Hollie Cook live and it was amazing! Hoxton Square B&K is very trendy and a chill place to listen to a live band...more
