The Beehive Pub
Overview
Life is as sweet as honey here at London pub restaurant The Beehive. Centrally located, this hostelry lays claim to being one of the city’s oldest pubs, having been established in 1884. With a desire to extend to guests the kind of warm welcome which would have been forthcoming all those years ago, the team at The Beehive today go above and beyond to provide busy Londoners with a place where they can feel at home an enjoy a peaceful, comfortable meal away from the rat race. The typical public house exterior of The Beehive, lined with its parasol-ed picnic benches, leads to a room in many ways unchanged over the years - indeed a huge Victorian dark wood bar remains, still serving a wide variety of lagers and real ales as well as excellent wines to complement the food menu. Described as ‘gastropub’, The Beehive’s menu provides much more than the average pub with passion and talent put to use in the kitchen, resulting in a choice of high quality dishes.

Pleasant little pub that is a great getaway from the surrounding tourist traps. Good service and food. I'll be back.more
Horrible handling of the drink outside/don't drink outside policy on match day.
1) One of the 3 bar tenders pours a £4.00 stout in a pint glass, then re-pours it into a plastic cup.
2) He tells it's £5.00, I then remind him that the price posted is £4.00.
3) I step outside to sit at one of the many wooden tables, to be confront by a member of staff explaining to me that drinking is not...more
The Beehive is a charming, friendly, relaxing place to get a good pint and a nice dinner. We had the pork chops and the food was superb - spicy and surprising. This is our favorite close-by place to eat late.more
It can be hard to find something non-touristy or non-posh in Mayrlebone, but secretly hanging out only a few blocks from the underground station is The Beehive, and it's a solid pub.
There's nothing incredibly fancy about this place, just a good local. Cheapish drinks, waitress who are constantly running around to pick up drinks, tables inside and out (with a nice awning over the out ones,...more
Ah, yes... my copy and paste description of a tavern!
This place is sponsored (I think) by Meantime (yuck) so we only popped in to try a pint or two we didn't have. Yet again- it looks like every other pub you've been in. HOWEVER, this place had two suuuuuper good cask ales!!!
