Overview

This autumn sees the establishment of a new and unique project in South East London. Formerly a storage facility for equipment and goods used for Crisis’s Christmas centre’s for homeless people, the Crisis Bermondsey Project now features over 60 studios for emerging artists- run by Bow Arts, plus supported spaces to facilitate arts initiatives for Crisis clients and a new 7000 sq ft gallery and project Space that will present a varied and eclectic programme of events and exhibitions, bringing exciting and innovative art to this corner of the capital. Bermondsey is rapidly become a new artists’ quarter, and the Bermondsey Project aims to play a leading part in this expansion of London’s artistic resources.
