Well, I'm probably one of the "back-packers" the other reviewers are talking about. I was visiting some ex-pats and stumbled upon this bar and actually had a good time. OK, a bit of a 'cheap and nasty' place, frequented by a lot of loud backpackers but there is one element that sets up this 3 star award for me - Wednesday evenings from around 6pm.

There is a guy that comes in and plays every Wednesday from about 6, plays and sings until the football starts (which is shown on a number of large screens in the pub) and then continues afterward.

This Belushi's is pretty cool, even though I enjoy and most frequent the one in Hammersmith. I remember being there for the Barcelona Manchester United game and the place was PACKED, the people were rowdy, and the atmosphere was really good. Went there to meet friends for a bite to eat and drinks.

It wasnt as bad as I though it would be (especially considering the area!!!). Friendly staff - and the drinks and food were fine.

Very quiet when we were there (6pm on a week night) - seemed quite a good place to watch sports, as each table had its own mini tv.

From the look of Belushi's - a little cheap and nasty, always rowdy folk sitting outside or hanging around - I could tell I wasn't going to enjoy drinking here.

However, I was persuaded to drink here on a few occasions when visiting a friend in Shepherd's Bush. I've never really enjoyed my time here at all. There were lots of drunken, loud lads and some cheap and nasty girls on both occasions...more
