I've not yet had the opportunity to visit the restaurant but Bengal Berties is my go-to for an Indian takeaway. You can wait for up to an hour on a weekend for the delivery but surely the fact that they're so busy is a sign of a decent meal?
I'd recommend the chicken jalfrezi and peshwari naan. Delicious food and friendly service. I'll definitely be popping into the restaurant soon.more
This is our favourite Indian place in North London - both for eating in or out! Delivery time was quick (30 mins)...more
Had a nice takeaway--good standard stuff--I was very happy with my Chicken Dhansak. I'm used to slightly cheaper places with similar quality out east.more

All this was ominous to the dining experience in Berties'. The window says they opened in 1984, and if feels a bit 1980s. It is a bit depressing that they don't...more
