Benny's has been in the papers since its inception. I think even Michael Jackson got some chips here. It's famous. It deserves its reputation because this little chippy lives up to its acclaim. There is no frozen food in sight. Everything they make is from fresh ingredients and the chips are actually properly peeled and fried potatoes. They are super cheap too. I am not a lover of fried food, so I can't give all five stars. They are super friendly here. The cod was great. Here's a key point- everything is fried in NUT oil, making is a lot healthier ( I think). If you need a quick bit or love fried stuff you have to stop in this place... I know I'll be returning.more
