I loved my dining experience here. We received excellent service from our waitress and enjoyed our three course pre-fixe dinner. I had beet and goat cheese salad, followed by trout with carrots in a citrus butter sauce, and chocolate torte with orange ice cream for dessert. Each course was delicious! It's a beautiful place. Who said London has bad food....?!?!
To a surprise, Fortnum and mason's restaurant served really delicious 3 course dinner.
Considering the restaurant being in Piccadilly, the price was reasonable. I had the sea bass special and I have to say, it was probably the best dish I've had.
The salad special was also delicious.
However, the dessert to a surprise wasn't that great.

This restaurant is a must when you are in London. Consistently good!
They start you off with a nice warm creative selection of bread -- go for the olive bread with apricots with a wonderful balance of savory and sweetness. Pair it with a nice cocktail like an espresso martini (great for the ones who just landed and getting over jetlag) or the perfect G&Ts with Hendrick's and cucumber.
Whilst visiting Fortnum & Mason we enjoyed lunch at The Fountain Restaurant. A bright, airy and beautiful restaurant found on the ground level where I enjoyed a late lunch of what I know as a UK staple, fish and chips.

The Welsh Rarebit was really good as was the risotto. The other items were okay. Service was okay but nothing special. I thought the interior would be a bit nicer. It looked a bit old considering the rest of this building looks a lot nicer.
