Sensational food, funky decor, sneaky hard to find address, brilliant cocktails and a grand piano.

Recommended by D1's boyfriend and Jeremy Stopmaster, it was a compulsory visit and it delivered.

Absolutely fantastic, five people, five cocktails and five amazing meals. Standouts were shallot tarte tatin, smoked short rib and the famous steak tartare.

Just wonderful.more

What a find! Feels like speak easy come pop up restaurant with no signage outside, up an industrial stair case restaurant with a chef that boarders on Michelin quality.

Had the white crab starter - light and Devine, the main of poached pollock and a radicchio and mint salad.

Service was fantastic and not to put on as well - details in the design make it relaxed and well thought out.

Service was slow (pre dinner cocktails took 20 mins plus for example) so why 5 stars I hear you...more

Good luck finding the unmarked entrance from the street (look for the white alcove with benches and plant pots and there's a door inside on the left). But once you're in (and upstairs) you'll see the incredible warehouse space that is Bistrotheque.

The food that comes out of the big open kitchen is really something special. Seemingly with an emphasis on the veg my hake starter came with very...more
