Great for City lunches, Boisdale of Bishopsgate is a smart, clubby restaurant just opposite Liverpool Street station. The red brick and part-panelled interior offers cosy booth seating and well-spaced tables downstairs, with a traditional oyster bar for more informal dining on the ground floor. Cuisine wears its Scottish heritage on its sleeve, with house specials like roast Macsween haggis with mash and bashed neeps. Private dining room and live jazz every evening in the piano bar.
