Saint Martins Gardens

Overview

St Martin's Gardens is situated south east of Camden Town and provides a green haven and recreational space in the midst of the busy urban environment. The site was previously Camden Town Cemetery before becoming a public park. Tombs and monuments from the old cemetery are still on the site and give the site its character. The park underwent a major restoration in 2005 and is now a well-balanced mix of trees, grassland, shrub beds and wild flower borders. A children's play area is surrounded by a wild flower meadow.
