I love this place. When I was working in London Bridge I went there and was introduced to the French Fleurie and le Cheese platter. Since that time about 5 years ago I have not been back but have recently rediscovered it. When places like this still exist in the world, there is never a reason or excuse good enough to ever visit a corporate wine bar again. Affordable and delicious wine, port, and sherry are on offer. But even though I love me some vino, what will keep me coming back is the atmosphere. Your mobile will feel out of place, but you will be too busy sampling lovely wines and cheeses and meats to care.more

This is a great little place to wind down after a harried experience in a busy Borough Market on a Thursday or Friday (note that it's not open weekends). It has a very Victorian feel about it, with leather chairs and an all-wood interior.

Awesome wine bar with a great historic feel. The interior feels like it's straight out of the 1800's, and that's a good thing. The bar staff was courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend.more
