I went here once with my friend after reading in GQ magazine that it was the #1 bar in the world!
Well, it didn't live up to that billing, but we were still pretty intimidated, which was funny because we ended up really overdressing. nothing is open in my neighborhood past 11 pm. we walked by the berkeley and asked if the bar was still open, and luckily, they open til 1.
the bar here is beautiful and plays some nice ambient lounge music. drinks are super expensive (14 GBP and up!) but really good. they also give you a platter of rice crackers, mixed spiced nuts, and another cracker, and they were soooooo good....more

This is a beautiful bar in an extremely beautiful hotel. The entire bar is this amazing color blue that in normal life you only see in very small bits. It is one room with another room directly behind it. The bar is dark, romantic and open late. The service is lovely.
