The Mosaic Rooms
Overview
The Mosaic Rooms are a newly refurbished exhibition space in Kensington, West London, which opened to the public in the autumn of 2008. The Rooms host the AM Qattan Foundation's own functions but also offer occasional rental space for events in the local community. The Rooms are laid out over two floors and comprise more than 2,000 feet of elegant space in a refurbished Victorian townhouse situated on the North Western corner of the Cromwell and Earls Court Roads. The main room on the ground floor can seat 75 people and is fitted with an HD video projector and sound system for screenings and lectures. It is also equipped for exhibitions, as are two smaller rooms on the same floor and two further rooms in the basement. The basement main room can also be used for dance lessons and rehearsals.
