The bookshop also reflects some of the collections and items seen in the exhibition galleries including illuminated manuscripts, music scores and stamp collections. Just a simple and normal museum shop. Went there to find some books but there is nothing much... Good for tourists and visitor but not a great bookshop !more
I was a big sucker for museum gift shops as a kid, and have mostly grown out of that... but this one is a winner.
Chock-full of beautiful books, including cloth-bound classics and novel companion art, it's intoxicating. I wanted to buy everything, and had to remind myself of my limited luggage capacity.
