The British Library Book Shop focuses on all aspects of the history and making of books. The bookshop also reflects some of the collections and items seen in the exhibition galleries including illuminated manuscripts, music scores and stamp collections. Many of their items are exclusive to the British Library Book Shop. A delivery service is available upon request.

I was a big sucker for museum gift shops as a kid, and have mostly grown out of that... but this one is a winner.
Chock-full of beautiful books, including cloth-bound classics and novel companion art, it's intoxicating. I wanted to buy everything, and had to remind myself of my limited luggage capacity.
