Went for a drink during Happy Hour. In addition to the bad /slow service, the server attempted to keep, without my permission, 4 pounds change from the 10 pounds note that I gave to her to pay for my wine. Although the manger tried to explain the theft by stating the worker was "new "(no connection at all!!), my change was finally returned. Most unpleasant.more
went based on Yelp and proximity to my hotel.
A few things:
1. definitely not a pub (in the traditional sense)
2. Decent wine by the glass options (I had a nice Rioja)
3. food- average at best
4. atmosphere- seems confused between club, restaurant and wine bar. Lots of after work happy hour folks...very few eating (should have understood what that meant)
All in, not bad but nothing special....more
How convenient?! Just steps away from St. Paul's. We may not have been business lunching, but we were trying to get a quick lunch before our next tours.
When we arrived there were still a number of tables left, both inside and outside, but seeing as how the sun was out and it was a lovely day, we opted for outside. The wait staff always looked a bit frantic. Our waitress had trouble...more

Had a good glass of wine and a smoked chicken salad. Finished off with some lovely fresh mint tea.
Close to work so it was very convenient, and the ambiance was very peaceful and chic. I'd love to come back :)more
Our first team lunch at work was held here at The Saint, in lovely Paternoster Square near St. Paul's Cathedral. The thing I love most about London is not knowing what's around the corner. I mean that in a happy surprise way, not in a 'scared to venture beyond your front door' way.
