One of my favorites, place to go for all kind of meats, great place for modern British cuisine!
Quail, duck leg, culf brain, pork belly, games - they're masters in meaty field.
And they bake wonderful, crusty bread at the place.
Tom(head chef) was previously head chef at St. John a read and Wine, so no surprise wine list is also impressive here.more
This restaurant served me the greatest meal of my life. Although it took a while to get the waiter to notice us and serve us, the rest of the meal was spectacular. Been here once before but unfortunately couldn't get a table for dinner, next day I went back for lunch and I was one of the first in for lunch service! I chose a corner booth to sit in. After learning that Tom Pemberton is a co-owner of Hereford Road (i love St John's) I had to try it during my last visit of London.
We were initially skeptical because upon arrival at 18:30, the place was completely empty.
We started off with a chilled red wine, Grignolino D'Asti. It was almost like a rose wine, without much of a scent. Refreshing nonetheless.
