Gaucho at The O2

Evoking the essence of Argentinian cooking, Gaucho O2 offers a passionately compiled mix of steaks, classic South American recipes, and drinks compiled by a 'Bartender of the Decade' award winner. Contrasting with the simplicity and richness of the dishes, the sultry, clean-cut dining room pays homage to its meat-focused menu, decked out in smooth leather and spotted cow hide. A 150-strong wine list celebrates Argentina's unrivalled growing regions and includes some supreme rare bottles, while the cocktail list takes inspiration from Buenos Aires culture from 1930 through to 1960.

Normally this is a great place to eat, a little on the noisy side but they have a good wine list and good food.

What spoilt the experience was the fact that we weren't given any proper steak knives - imagine trying to cut into a prime steak with an ordinary knife, squishing all the juices out of it! When I confronted the waiter about this, he claimed...more

How do you say this place is absolutely wonderful... oh I just did.

The service is fantastic from the moment you walk in they take your coat to the back private cloak room then they show you to the elevator, they even make sure they press the floor your table is booked on. Even though pressing an elevator button isn't a big deal but the fact they do it for you is just fantastic.
