Desperados is a family-owned Spanish and Tex-Mex restaurant with an easy, south-of-the-border warmth and charm.
The menu includes an array of tapas as well as all your southwestern favourites: nachos, wings, ribs, chilli, burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas and more. There are also brilliant burgers, steaks and grills and every cocktail you'd ever want, lots available by the pitcher.
The décor is pure Tex-Mex and a load of fun.

It's not great... but that's because it was recently found to be a front for a gang using it to sell drugs.
I give it 2 stars though because I really enjoyed the nachos here, and I once met a really cute girl who I dated... so it deserves a little something.

I liked this place a lot! Shame about the negative reviews. I actually fancied the waitress a little bit she was so beautiful and kind! The chilli con carne and nachos were awesome and my parents loved their meals too! Our food was certianly not bland! Great vibe and amazing location and view of the cutty sark!more
Large portions, tasty chicken burrito, cheap price. Ask for tap water and you're definitely getting a bargain dinner!
